Our neighbourhood
Living where the harbour meets the city
Pakhusene sits at Aarhus Ø — the former harbour area that is today one of the city’s most distinctive districts, with modern architecture, canals and direct access to the water. Our characteristic brick buildings stand side by side with our neighbours the Iceberg and the Lighthouse.
Pakhusene Living is the two residential buildings at Mariane Thomsens Gade 3 and 6 — the housing part of the larger Pakhusene development, which also includes commercial premises. Our two brick buildings were built in 2016, comprise 83 homes and were designed by AART architects.
